Geesebumps 27: The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight (Goosebumps #20)
Wednesday Aug 18, 2021
Wednesday Aug 18, 2021
We intended to do a new Fear Street book today but we didn't anticipate it was 500 pages or whatever so we instead did R.L. Stine's The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight (Goosebumps #20). Also, we've been doing this for about a year now, and our attitude on Goosebumps has...changed.

Geesebumps 26: Monster Blood II (Goosebumps #18)
Wednesday Aug 04, 2021
Wednesday Aug 04, 2021
Spoilers: We talk about Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Today we are discussing the second of 4 Monster Blood books in the main Goosebumps Series: Monster Blood 2 (or Monster Blood II) by R.L. Stine (Goosebumps #18). After this book we concluded that most people like the idea of Goosebumps more than anything else. Also, like most sequels, we rehash all of our basic points from the first one in a new fun way. Enjoy!
Our next episode will come out on August 18th and we'll be talking about R.L. Stine's Return to Fear Street 1: You May Now Kill the Bride

Wednesday Jul 21, 2021
Wednesday Jul 21, 2021
Netflix produced a trilogy of films based on the Fear Street saga by R.L. Stine, and these films have a really elaborate name. Today, we are discussing Parts one, two, and three of the Fear Street saga overall, with more focus paid to the last like half-hour of 1666 because it's best. Spoilers ahoy!
Our next episode will come out on July 28th!

MINIBUMP! Fear Street Compliment Sandwich
Wednesday Jul 14, 2021
Wednesday Jul 14, 2021
R.L. Stine's Fear Street trilogy was changed into a movie series by Leigh Janiak for Netflix, and at the time of this episode, only Fear Street Part One: 1994 and Fear Street Part Two: 1978 have been released. It seems to us that all of the Fear Street films are expected to be watched and absorbed as a single experience of "content," we are going to start our discussion of Fear Street looking at the first two films, in the internet friendly format of a compliment sandwich.
Our next episode will come out on July 21st, and we'll be reviewing the entire Fear Street Trilogy!

Geesebumps 24: Why I'm Afraid of Bees (Goosebumps #17)
Wednesday Jul 07, 2021
Wednesday Jul 07, 2021
Another main Goosebumps book is usually a cause for celebration, but not this day. We're putting ourselves through R.L. Stine's Why I'm Afraid of Bees (Goosebumps #17). We discuss the weird, cyberpunk future of Goosebumps land, a strange Total Recall moment in the middle, a bunch of bee facts, and the unassailable weirdness teleportation.
Our next episode will come out on July 14th! It'll be a Mini-bump, but we're going to be talking about the Fear Street series on Netflix.

MINIBUMP! The Phobia Quiz
Wednesday Jun 30, 2021
Wednesday Jun 30, 2021
We have emerged from our comedy chrysalis and are ready to discuss all the great phobias that exist. There's a lot of them, and if you wanted to listen to a comedy podcast where two people with a ton of education say immature words, you have come to the most right place you can imagine. Enjoy the goofs! And there's dinosaurs in this one!
Our next episode will come out on July 7th, and we'll be reading R.L. Stine's Why I'm Afraid of Bees (Goosebumps #17)!

Geesebumps 23: You Can't Scare Me! (Goosebumps #15)
Wednesday Jun 16, 2021
Wednesday Jun 16, 2021
A deceptive Goosebumps book is our target on this fine day. We're reading R.L. Stine's You Can't Scare Me (Goosebumps #15) and reveling in the joy of a story where nothing happens the entire time. Enjoy the discussion of the Final Fantasy 14, vilifying the only good character in the book, and our refusal to allow this book to be reviewed in one sitting.
Our next episode will come out on June 30th, and we'll be reading R.L. Stine's Why I'm Afraid of Bees (Goosebumps #17)!

Wednesday Jun 02, 2021
Jeff's got a fever. A werewolf fever. Look, today we are reading the R.L. Stine's The Werewolf of Fever Swamp, Goosebumps #14, and it's not a very good book. Key talking points for this episode is Darell Jenkins Khalid, goofy bad parenting, dog mask off, and big florida energy. Enjoy the goofs, and swamp you!

MINIBUMP! They Call Me The Night Howler! (Slappyworld #11)
Wednesday May 26, 2021
Wednesday May 26, 2021
Stay exactly where you are, Marvel Comics. We had just enough time to pop into a more recent Goosebumps experience: R.L. Stine's They Call Me the Night Howler! (Slappyworld #11) which reads less like a horror story and more like the first 4 chapters of a Stinematic hero universe. It's bonkers. Beware blue strawberries, and watch out for spoilers in todays goofy episode.
Our next episode will come out on June 2nd, and we'll be reading R.L. Stine's The Werewolf of Fever Swamp (Goosebumps #14)!
