By request, the Geesebumps gang has taken a weary stab at R.L. Stine's most buckwild vampire tale: Vampire Breath (Goosebumps #49). We don't know what it is you believe a vampire story is supposed to have, but with a little help from our friends Deleuze and Guattari, we're gonna take this book all the way out the the thousand plateaus and leave it there. Also, there's a powerful stink cloud in this one so that's fun.

The reports of our demise were greatly overstated. We're back for I guess a season two as we dig into one of the lost Goosebumps reprints, R.L. Stine's Legend of the Lost Legend (Goosebumps #47). Far and away one of the most troubling literary experiences we've ever dealt with. It's the worst version of Baudrillard's Simulacra, AND WE DIDN'T EVEN MENTION THAT IN THE EPISODE. Enjoy!

It's almost an amazing psychological horror character study about a potentially millennial ventriloquist, but turns out to be a Goosebumps book. R.L. Stine's Fear Street trilogy was changed into a movie series by Leigh Janiak for Netflix, and at the time of this episode, only Fear Street Part One: 1994 and Fear Street Part Two: 1978 have been released. It seems to us that all of the Fear Street films are expected to be watched and absorbed as a single experience of "content," we are going to start our discussion of Fear Street looking at the first two films, in the internet friendly format of a compliment sandwich.

Another main Goosebumps book is usually a cause for celebration, but not this day. We're putting ourselves through R.L. Stine's Why I'm Afraid of Bees (Goosebumps #17). We discuss the weird, cyberpunk future of Goosebumps land, a strange Total Recall moment in the middle, a bunch of bee facts, and the unassailable weirdness teleportation.
